Team Members
You can invite team members to collaborate on your site. Team members are added per-site, so you can control who has access to each publication.
Where to Manage Team Members
Go to Settings in the sidebar and find the Team Members card. This shows members for the currently selected site.
Inviting a Team Member
- Go to Settings
- Find the Team Members section
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
- Click Invite
The person will receive an email invitation with a link to join your account.
What Happens After Inviting
- They receive an email with a sign-up link
- They create their Velora account (or sign in if they have one)
- They automatically get access to this site
- They appear in the team members list for this site
Viewing Team Members
The Team Members section shows all current members:
- Email - Their email address
- Name - Their display name (if set)
- Joined - When they joined the account
Removing a Team Member
To remove someone from your account:
- Go to Settings
- Find the Team Members section
- Click Remove next to the member
- Confirm the removal
Once removed, they can no longer access this site. If they’re a member of other sites, those aren’t affected.
What Team Members Can Do
Team members have full access to the site they’re invited to:
- Create and manage articles
- Configure Skills
- Add content sources (RSS, social, email)
- Access Settings
Team members cannot create new sites. Only account owners can add sites to the account.
To give someone access to multiple sites, invite them to each site separately.
Invitations
Pending Invitations
Invitations don’t expire. If someone hasn’t joined yet:
- They may not have seen the email
- Ask them to check their promotions or spam folder
- You can send another invitation to the same email
Resending Invitations
If someone didn’t receive the invitation, simply invite them again with the same email address.
Best Practices
Use Work Emails
Invite team members using their work email addresses for easier management.
Remove Inactive Members
If someone leaves your team, remove them promptly to maintain account security.
Keep the Team Small
Only invite people who actively need access. Fewer members means less coordination overhead.
